SOH ARCHERY
Welcome to SOH Archery, located at SOH Ranch in Castle Rock, CO. This member only 3D archery course is the elite destination for your marksman and hunting conditioning needs. Here at the ranch, we believe that we are stewards of the land and want to share it with you. We believe in providing a unique and quality experience for all our members through diverse and realistic shot scenarios. The range consists of 3 sight-in 365 targets at various shot distances and 20 Delta McKenzie Pro 3D targets at distances of 15-100 yards. The full course runs across a majestic 35-acre parcel with a wide range of terrain and topography to create a fun and challenging experience.
ABOUT US
• Open Daily from Sunrise to Sunset within the hours of 7 am – 7 pm • Water is available to the south of the parking lot across from the retention pond via the red spigot. • No restrooms are currently available, please plan accordingly.
SOH Archery Range Rules
1. Access to the range is limited to Members and their guests.
2. No smoking or open flames of any kind.
3. No consuming of alcohol or drugs at or before arriving to the range.
4. No sky drawing.
5. Stay on the trail at all times, no crossing property lines.
6. Do not shoot toward or harass wildlife.
7. Shoot only from Designated Positions.
8. Do not nock arrow until all persons are behind the shooting line.
9. Do not retrieve arrows until all archers have finished shooting.
10. Bows must be placed on bow hangers prior to retrieving arrows.
11. No shooting before sunrise or after sunset.
12. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
13. Please do not leave trash behind, pack out what you pack in.
14. Never point a bow and arrow at another person.
15. High tread and waterproof shoes are highly recommended.
16. No crossbows.
17. All Arrows must be quivered when traversing the course.

SERVICES
As a member, you will enjoy access to the range year-round with priority sign-ups for club tournaments and events. Members may bring guests; however, they must sign the waiver /range rules and pay a range fee.

SOH Archery operates on “Tee Times”. Schedule your start time so that you can move through the course unhindered by others and go at your own pace.

Do not leave a bow braced for longer than you use it.
Do not leave your bow in the sun. If your bow gets hot, wait until it cools down before bracing.
Check the string of the bow. If it looks thready, wax it with either beeswax of special string wax available in bow shops.
When buying arrows, you should consider the draw weight of the bow and your draw length. If you order your arrows from us, we will choose the ideal traditional wooden arrows for you, made of Scots Pine or other high quality wood.
Arrows should not be shot into hard targets including wood.
Target shooting is a repetitive task, where you probably shoot dozens, even hundreds of times in a short period of time. If the bow is too fast, it puts strain on your muscles, joints, arrows and target altogether. When hunting, you will only use the bow once in a while.
